I am Monica Janer, visual artist and poet. From a very young age I discovered that art was my natural language, a way of expressing the invisible, the symbolic and the sacred. I graduated in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona, and over the years I have complemented my training with a master's degree in Interior Design at the BAU school, a postgraduate degree in Contemporary Art at the UNED in Extremadura, and various courses in engraving and oil painting.

My artistic career spans more than 25 years of search, evolution and transformation. Through painting, I have explored different personal and spiritual stages, always guided by a deep inner connection. My work is born from an intuitive process, where I feel that I do not paint from the ego, but that I am a channel of something bigger. Each painting is an act of surrender, a mirror of the soul and a testimony of my healing path.

I work with symbols, vibrant colours and female figures that embody the spiritual strength and beauty of the human process. Each work is accompanied by a channelled poem that I write by hand on the back of the canvas, like a whisper that completes the visual message.

I am currently developing the series The Oracles of Change, consisting of 33 paintings representing different phases of the awakening of the soul: from the egg (potential), the caterpillar (pain), the chrysalis (healing), to the butterfly, flight and enlightenment. This series will become an oracular deck to accompany others in their own processes of transformation.

My work has been exhibited in Spain, Italy and England, and is part of private collections in Spain, Italy, England, Canada, Miami and Amsterdam. I am also part of Nomadart Productions, an international art production company with which I actively collaborate.

I believe in art as a path of truth, beauty and healing. I paint to remember who I am and to accompany others to reconnect with their light.
