Mother Earth

Fertile mother of a thousand faces,
she feeds us without asking for anything in return.
Life springs from her breast, hope from her branches.
She covers us, nourishes us, embraces us, teaches us the eternal cycle.
She is abundance and strength: the one who gives and the one who takes away,
the one who sings in the buds and whispers in the roots.

To sow doubt as a mother, and wonder as a child.
