The cave of the soul

Inside me...
there is a cave made of silence.
There...
my soul embraces itself
and incubates a golden egg.

There is no hurry.
There is no form.
Only warmth...
and ancient memory.

A figure waits for me at the back...
It is me.
Returning.
Returning to myself.

And when I am ready...
butterflies of light
will fly out
from my chest.
